Job Summary

Must have word processing skills, must be reliable and must have excellent telephone manners. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with the general public, students, and faculty, as well as dental vendors. Experience with dental equipment repair and ability to analyze problems with dental equipment. Maintaining and ordering dental clinical supplies.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of computers and ability to use eBucs to order supplies and place requisitions.
  • Knowledge of Banner.
  • Knowledge of dental equipment and ability to perform simple repairs.
  • Ability to deal with dental vendors and service technicians.
  • Ability to maintain equipment and clinical supply inventory.
  • Ability to deal with students and help solve their equipment issues.
  • Ability to develop a working relationship with dental vendors in order to expedite the ordering and/or repair process when problems occur in the clinic.
Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Job Duties

These are the job duties required of the position.

Description of Job Duty
  • Regular maintenance, repair and part replacement, coordinating outside service contractors for major repairs or installations, shipping and tracking dental equipment as necessary.
  • Ordering and stocking of clinic supplies.
  • Maintaining inventory.
