Job Duties

These are the job duties required of the position.

Description of Job Duty
  • Perform troubleshooting for computer, telephone, network and programming problems, resolving if possible and if time allows; otherwise diverting to the appropriate division when needed.
  • Administer computer accounts (permissions, passwords, health, etc. for domain, Blackboard, Imail, Vax, etc.)
  • Administer long-distance PINs.
  • Web application to development (User Services field inventory entry, campus maps, antivirus information, dropbox, etc.).
  • Antivirus license compliance (package installers, maintain records, enforce policies as needed).
  • Software and patch packaging (VPN software, automation of MS KB steps, etc.)

  • Process paperwork for computer account requests.
  • Administer the WWW service (generate web space, maintain permissions, etc.)
  • On-site desktop maintenance (assisting User Services).
