Job Summary
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing systems, building automated systems.
  • Knowledge of HVAC and mechanical system operations, diagnostic, and repair essentials.
  • Communication skills, both written and verbally, with costumers.
  • Leadership skills in working with multi trade shop.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects.
Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required. Vocational school required. 7-10 years experience and 5 of those years as the job lead worker. Welding, forklift, and pump/med gas certifications

Job Duties

These are the job duties required of the position.

Description of Job Duty
  • Supervise plumbing, preventative maintenance, and domestic water systems repair crews, and schedule their work.
  • Installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and evaluation of HVAC equipment and other related equipment.
  • Accountable for uni and ventilators, WSHP, air holders, FCU’s, fan coils, pumps, pump motors, Aidu’s, exhaust systems, and condensate pumps.
  • Manages all aspects of campus plumbing operations, PM programs, steam and water distribution systems. HVAC including chillers, FCU’s, and pumps.
  • Asbestos abatement pipe.
  • Use computerized building management system – Johnson controls.
