Job Summary
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing systems, building automated systems. Knowledge of HVAC and mechanicals system operations, diagnostic, and repair essentials. Communicaton skills, both written and verbally, with cosumers. Leadership skills in working with multi trade shop. Ability to lift heavy objects.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required. Vocational school required. 7-10 years experience and 5 of those years as the job lead worker. Welding, forklift, and pump/med gas certifications

Job Duties

These are the job duties required of the position.

Description of Job Duty

Supervise plumbing, preventative maintenance, and domestic water systems repair crews, and schedule their work.

Installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and evaluation of HVAC equipment and other related equipment.

Accountable for uni and ventillators, WSHP, air holders, FCU’s, fan coils, pumps, pump motors, Aidu’s, exhaust systems, and condensate pumps.

Manages all aspects of campus plumbing operations, PM programs, steam and water distribution systems. HVAC including chillers, FCU’s, and pumps.

Asbesto abatement pipe.

Use computerized building management system – Johnson controls.
