Job Summary
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of Banner student information system. Knowledge of Academy One software for reverse transfer systems. Knowledge of institutional policies and procedures. Knowledge of general office procedures and practices. Knowledge of and ability to use general office equipment and cash register. Ability to understand and learn new software packages. Ability to apply practical and logical reasoning. Ability to communicate effectively and with tact. Ability to use calculate numbers using arithmetic. Ability to provide excellent customer service. Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment. Ability to work accurately. Ability to research computer and paper records. Ability to use data to investigate and correctly identify student records. Ability to make cash transactions accurately. Ability to scan and index documents into Banner using the document imaging system.

Required Qualifications

High School diploma or GED with 1 year secretarial or clerical experience.

Job Duties

Process official change in major requests.

Process grade changes.

Process refund appeal applications.

Process official transcript requests.

Scanning and indexing documents into the BANNER document imaging software.

Assists in the Commencement Ceremony.
