Job Summary

Coordinate and oversee the daily operations of the ETSU recycling program. Organize and coordinate recycling events working with various elements of the ETSU community. Collect all recyclables on campus and supervise student workers who help with collection. Record, analyze, and report data related to waste and recycling. Prioritize and complete work orders. Manage all operations at recycling center. Coordinate recycling operations with City of Johnson City Solid Waste Department and other recycling vendors.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of general recycling concepts. Ability to move 50 lbs. Ability to work in adverse conditions. Ability to supervise students, including scheduling, timekeeping, and disciplinary procedures. Ability to use a computer and appropriate software.

Required Qualifications

Graduation from High School or GED. Ability to lift/move a minimum of 50 lbs and to work in adverse conditions. Experience and proficiency with Microsoft office and/or comparable computer software required.Valid TN Driver License required.
