Job Duties

These are the job duties required of the position.

Description of Job Duty

Enter data on students, faculty, attendance, records, grades, transcripts and discipline into WIN system.
Mail out Report Cards.
Work in preparation for the annual lottery for student admission.
Set up interview for prospective students.
Prepare new files for students, which will follow them until graduation or the student leaves.
Call in substitute teachers in the event of teacher absence.
Prepare requisition for textbook orders; distribution of orders once they arrive.
Entry of information for TSSAA for all sports.

Prepare mailing for monthly newsletter.
Prepare student directory each year and see that it is distributed to each family.
Maintain the master calendar in the office.
Prepare packets and forms for in-service at the beginning of school.
Designated person to administer medication if nurse is absent.
Building Coordinator.
Maintain a birthday bulletin board in the main hallway.
Maintain an information bulletin board in the hallway.
All regular secretarial duties such as correspondence, memos, filing, copies; etc.
Serve on the scheduling committee which develops both the master calendar and the master schedule for the school year.
Serve on the High School Honors Banquet committee.
Responsible for the correspondence.
All other duties as assigned.
