Job Summary
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of Banner student information system. Knowledge of Academy One software for reverse transfer system. Knowledge of institutional policies and procedures. Knowledge of general office procedures and practices. Knowledge of and ability to use general office equipment and cash register. Ability to understand and learn new software packages. Ability to apply practical and logical reasoning. Ability to communicate effectively and with tact. Ability to calculate numbers using arithmetic. Ability to provide excellent customer service. Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment. Ability to work accurately. Ability to research computer and paper records. Ability to use data to investigate and correctly identify student records. Ability to make cash transactions accurately.

High school diploma or GED and one year of clerical or secretarial experience.

Job Duties

These are the job duties required of the position.

Description of Job Duty

Processes official paper transcripts. Processes official XML transcripts. Processes official reverse transfer transcripts. Processes unofficial faxed transcripts. Tests Banner patches and WorkFlow applications related to transcript and Clearinghouse processing. Tests 3rd party vendor software patches related to reverse transfer transcripts and eFusion template. Reviews and responds to Office of the Registrar main email address inquiries and requests for information. Assists in the Commencement Ceremony.
