Job Duties

These are the job duties required of the position.

Description of Job Duty
  • Provide administrative support for Assistant Vice President for University Center/ID Services and the University Center Director of Operations to include typing, scheduling meetings/appointments, TracDat date entry, Powerpoint presentations, make travel arrangements/prepare forms, etc.
  • Maintain payroll personnel and payroll records and the processing of information into TRS.
  • Hiring, training, and supervision of student employees for the University Center Office and Information Booth.
  • Provide support for University Center Craft Shop Manager to include creating and maintaining a mailing list, preparing contacts for instructors, assisting with newsletter, etc.
  • Answer telephone, take messages, route calls with appropriate screening, greet office visitors, provide information and referral to those with questions/problems/concerns.
  • Maintain daily key check out system for various areas in the University Center.
  • Prepare, enter, and track Physical Plant Work orders, calling in emergency work orders.
  • Provide backup support to the Facility Reservationist when absent or very busy.
    Special projects assigned by the Assistant Vice President.

  • Approve flyers, posters, etc. to be placed on building bulletin boards.
  • Maintain office supply inventory.
  • Prepare personnel forms – evaluations, hiring process, etc.
  • Provide assistance to individuals using the copier.
  • Supervise distribution of departmental mail.
  • Provide assistance to the Night manager to include entering student worker payroll and processing student personnel forms.
  • Mail out facility Use Evaluation forms to all users of University Center facilities.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
