Knowledge, Skills and Abilities | - Ability to plan and supervise plumbing shop activities. – Ability to inspect work for completeness and quality. – Ability to motivate employee work performance. – Ability to perform administrative activities. – Ability to operate machines and tools of the plumbing trade. |
Required Qualifications | High school graduate or equivalent; vocational school certificate in plumbing or completion of plumber’s apprenticeship, plus two years plumbing experience or two years related experience. Supervisory experience preferred. |

Description of Job Duty | -Orders and locates materials and supplies for stock and special projects. -Inspects work to ensure that instructions have been followed; assists plumbers when problems arise. -Reads work orders and blueprints. -Plans best way from several alternative ways to accomplish a job. -Selects best method for temporary, emergency repairs. -Operates specialized equipment and hand tools common to the plumber’s trade. |
