Job Duties

These are the job duties required of the position.

Description of Job Duty
  • Keep accurate records of all monies spent by the department. This includes the supply budget, travel budget, and all foundation accounts
  • Maintain and process necessary fiscal forms.
  • Sends Dean’s Office spreadsheets.
  • Maintain all faculty and administrative files.
  • Responsible for coordinating and keying all schedules on SIS system.
  • Textbook coordinator.
  • Prepare employment contracts and monthly payroll for faculty, staff, graduate assistants, and student workers.
  • Help process FAP/FAR/FAE forms.
  • Prepare all departmental requisitions and standard university forms.
  • Assist students with departmental courses and any type of advisement as needed.
  • Supervision and coordination of workload for part-time secretary.
  • Supervision of student workers.
  • Assist chain and faculty members in preparation of grant proposals, curriculum proposals, and research papers.

  • Copying and maintenance of copier.
  • Order all supplies for copier and fax machine.
  • Route incoming calls and handle accordingly.
