Job Summary
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of Banner and Goldlink.

Knowledge of excellent numerical facility.

Knowledge of computer systems including but not limited to Microsoft Applications.

Knowledge of University financial procedures.

Ability to work well with others.

Ability to operate printers, faxes and calculators.

Required Qualifications

Three or more years of college required; three to five years in accounting office required; five or more years of experience required.

Job Duties

These are the job duties required of the position.

Description of Job Duty

Downloads and maintains cash deposits from bank’s website daily.

Works with Bursar’s side to solve any problems with deposits.

Update financial records for appropriate departments including sending information to them.

Print account payable checks and emailing their direct deposit notifications to payees.

Print payroll checks and emailing their direct deposit notifications to payees.

Assisting/updating financial records off-campus, COM, Nursing, FP.

Prints and distributes W2’s yearly; duplicates if necessary.

Research records to determine if checks have cleared.

Provide assistance for duties in absence of co-workers.

Operates office machinery; computer, printers, faxes, calculators and adding machine.

Data entry for journal vouchers.

Maintain entries for debit wire transfers.

Receive and maintains files for Central Receiving and Motor Pool.

Reconciles Petty Cash Bank Account.

Supervises and directs work to student workers.

Preparing and entering journal vouchers.

Solves problems with appropriate departments.

Chair-person Events Committee.

Orders office supplies when needed.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
