Job Duties

These are the job duties required of the position.

Description of Job Duty

Coordinates and schedules meetings and prepares minutes for the Center for Nursing Research and interdisciplinary research meetings.

Coordinates research training workshops.

Provides technical assistance to Grants and Scholarship Manager in processing grant proposals through the college and university.

Maintains grant activity database and reports. Maintains responsibility for critical research records necessary for funders and the Institutional Review Board (IRB).

Files and manages paper and electronic proposals.

Prepares research related items for the College of Nursing Friday Newsletter and relays grant opportunities to faculty members.

Collects data for and prepares Center for Nursing Research annual and interim reports. Creates and maintains college evaluation records.

Manages database for faculty indirect funding.

Manages academic support function for the Ph.D. in Nursing program, including communication with students and faculty, coordination of student interviews, record keeping and collection of student data, and database management.
