Job Summary

Position is responsible to the Director of WIOA Services and provides career and case management services to adults, dislocated workers, youth and employers; uses intensive case management to work with clients on a day-to-day basis; and performs other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to work with the Department of Labor’s VOS data management system.

Ability to use Microsoft Excel and Word programs.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a major in a social service/social science related field or an associate’s degree and 2 years in a social science/social service related field required.

Job Duties

These are the job duties required of the position.

Description of Job Duty

Provides career services to jobseekers, youth and employers.

Provides services to employers to locate, assess, interview and hire employees.

Maintains participant records in VOS information management system and other data such as case files according to WIOA policies and procedures.

Integrates provision of services to jobseekers, youth and employers with other providers of services that are located in the Career Center or that provide services through referrals.

Provides information to approved training providers to individuals that qualify to receive individual training accounts.

Communicates effectively with other AJC staff, employers, partners, participants and the public.
