Job Summary

  • Ability to utilize a database program that registers and tracks customers.
  • Ability to maintain detailed records and compile accurate reports.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with others, both orally and in instructions.
  • Ability to work effectively with AJC customers and staff, and the ability to enter data accurately and maintain timely and accurate records.
Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required with at least two years related work experience; one or more years of training or work related experience in office or related occupations with a demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft applications.

Preferred Qualifications

Associates degree; experience in Virtual One-Stop.

These are the job duties required of the position.

Description of Job Duty
  • Provides assistance to support job seekers, incumbent workers and employers.
  • Answers a multi-line telephone and staff the reception desk.
  • Assists customers with job search, Jobs4TN self-registration, and computer usage.
  • Provides clerical support, including maintenance of files, records, and inventory of forms and supplies.
  • Assists, as appropriate, in the provision of WIOA Title I services to customers.
  • Provides appropriate information to customers about available services.
