Job Summary

Responsible to the Psychiatry Research Director and his associated faculty and Investigators for overseeing a variety of clinical research projects, with a focus on neuro-AIDS; and performing other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of computer skills (word processing, data entry, statistical software).

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree required.

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degree and/or medical research experience in neuro-AIDS preferred.

Job Duties

These are the job duties required of the position.

Description of Job Duty

Interacts with research subjects in a professional manner.

Ensures that IRB documentation is kept up to date.

Completes CRFs and maintains research documentation to a high standard, so that monitoring visits are error-free.

Coordinates participants’ attendance with availability of raters and laboratory staff.

Performs vital sign checks, physical examinations, blood draws, infusions, and clinical ratings and interviews as well as other clinical assessments, if licensed and/or certified to do so.
