Job Summary

The Department of Literature and Language at East Tennessee State University seeks a part-time instructor to teach elementary and intermediate French courses beginning in August 2017. This is a temporary position, filled each semester according to need, although there is likely opportunity for renewal. This position does not provide benefits.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

The successful candidate’s primary duties will be to teach French 1000- and 2000-level courses.

Required Qualifications

A master’s degree in French or a related field, or a master’s degree in any field, with eighteen graduate hours in French by the date employment starts.

Preferred Qualifications
Salary $1,800 per 3 credit hours
