Job Summary

This position will provide support with the daily activities of one of the College of Nursing Health Clinics. Answers incoming calls, determines purpose of callers, takes messages and delivers them electronically, or transfers call to appropriate personnel. Maintains and builds provider schedules and enters appointments into a computerized scheduler accurately. Provides exemplary customer service; treats patients and coworkers with courtesy and discretion. Completes appointment reminder calls. Receives, sorts, and routes mail; retrieves and routes incoming faxes. Completes insurance verification and eligibility requests. Scans documents and imports them into the electronic health record system.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum of 1 year office or call center experience.
