Job Summary

The Project Managers will report to the Project Leaders for the clinic evaluation and the process evaluation of Choose Well, a state-wide initiative to reduce unintended pregnancy (College of Public Health). They will be responsible for the following elements of the project: serving as main points of contact with project personnel; logistics planning; facilitating administration of the clinic surveys; scheduling and completion of interviews with administrative-and clinic-based personnel; identification of and use of data capture system for use in data collection and retrieval; perform data collection, database creation, data entry, data analysis and manipulation, data interpretation, and report generation; collaborate with researchers in report generation for granting agency, as well as manuscript preparation for publication; coordinating key components of the process evaluation related to reach, fidelity of implementation, and sustainability of different components of the Choose Well initiative. They will perform other duties as assigned. These positions will be the first points of contact for questions from the study sites regarding data elements for the clinic and process evaluation projects. These positions will also be responsible for ensuring expenditures are within budgeted amounts.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of research and evaluation methodology for the social sciences, including qualitative and quantitative research methods.
Knowledge of computers including word processing, presentation, data entry and analysis software.
Knowledge of SAS or SPSS statistical software.
Ability to comprehend and prepare needed data analysis reports and presentations.
Knowledge of electronic health record software, statistical software, spreadsheet and word processing software.
Knowledge of technical writing, budgeting, and program evaluation.
Knowledge of foundation grant management.
Ability to manage a budget.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to prepare manuscripts and evaluation reports for publication and dissemination.
Ability to plan for and conduct meetings both in person and remotely.
Ability to coordinate multiple resources and tasks.

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in Public Health/Social Sciences or a related field; training in research methodology and statistical analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

Two to three years of experience in research project management preferred; previous experience in a university environment preferred.
