Job Summary

Primary responsibilities will be oversight of department expenditures across all budget lines, working with the chair to develop budget projections, developing employment contracts, building courses, and working with the chair and assistant chair to develop class schedules. Secondary responsibilities will include answering phones, fielding student and other questions about the program, and working with the Executive Aide to assist faculty with other tasks as needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Strong math skills, ability to use spreadsheets such as Excel to track expenditures, capacity to learn university programs for course building and scheduling. Capacity to develop working knowledge of graduate and undergraduate curriculum. Excellent listening and oral and written communication skills.

Required Qualifications

Associates degree

OR

High school diploma with at least two years clerical and/or budgeting experience.

Preferred Qualifications
Salary $20,305 - $22,580
